Share!

Circle time!

I introduced the letter P today.

How do good friends treat each other?

The kids shared different ways they could play nicely with their friends.

Happy Baby!

Sharing Makes More! The children are exploring with yellow and blue paint. They are sharing paint with a friend and mixing it together. I explained that we can mix (share) two colors of paint to make three.

S is patiently waiting, so I can help her paint her paint a piece of art.

I set out yarn pieces, and invited the children to share them to make a large letter P.

The kids are playing musical bags. When the music stops, they open up their bag to see if they have the mama "P" and the baby letter "p". Whoever has the matching letters wins that round.

The kids discussed how they could share with friends. The instructions asked to search the outdoors for items to fill a box, but it has been pouring down rain for several days. I filled a box with supplies such as beads, feathers and other items for the kids to choose from. Each child picked out different items to fill their box.

Afterwards they decorated the boxes with heart stickers.

K is working on his journal.

N is the weather person for the month of September.
